Rates information
The notary receives:
- Firstly, for his/her departmental operations, or for a notarised document, a public law fee fixed by law, with the Tariff (TNo) being mandatory, and
- Secondly, for operations before and after the official document has been drawn up and for advice, fees calculated according to the importance and difficulty of the case, the time dedicated and the result.
Emoluments and fees are subject to VAT.
The invoice of professional fees separately indicates the billed disbursements, which correspond to the emoluments paid notably to the land register and the commercial register and other authorities. For real estate transactions, an estimate of the sum of the notary’s fees for the purchase deed, the fees of the land register, and the tax owed (transfer tax, can be made here).
For a personalized quote (taking into account the fees for ancillary operations, specifically anticipated in your case, and the possible mortgage deed), we invite you to contact the notary directly, who will provide you with complete transparency.
Normally, and according to law and custom, the notary will ask for an advance to cover fees and disbursements. When the file is finished, the notary will send a fee and disbursement note. You can request a detailed list of the operations carried out.
